eye thou

"When Thou is spoken, the speaker has no thing for his object. For where there is a thing there is another thing. Every It is bounded by others; It exists only through being bounded by others. But when Thou is spoken, there is no thing, Thou has no bounds. When Thou is spoken the speaker has no thing, he has indeed nothing. But he takes his stand in relation."

- Martin Buber, I and Thou

Belongings

Buttoned by a coat the girl wearing. Cobweb of a spun spider. Slippers tucked beds under forgotten. Missing two teeth toothbrush. Fingers long four for fifth strum. Rain cactus shrinks in sun. Breaking scrambled eggs pan unwashed. Headphones taut ears scream noted. Hollow abdominals wake full mourning. Happiness derived pelican scoops fish. Tongues rise summer sultry wrongdoers. Tattered blackberry leg bristles rubbed raw.
