A new project is in the works. Wikipedia for Everything Else, specifically mundane actions and objects or ephemera and unknown strangers. Hyperlinks will not be included to preserve dwindling attention spans. One day this will have it's own fancy webpage on this very site.
Here is the first entry: Waiting in line at the DMV
“Waiting in line at the DMV” is a necessary action involving US citizens who drive motor vehicles and require renewal or procurement of a license or permit to drive those motor vehicles. Some people stand with legs crossed. Others shift their weight from left to right. Sweatpants are commonly worn for comfort and ease. Few stare at others and wonder where they have come from, where they are going, when they may die. Some consider the corners and utilitarian design of the building. Most people stare at phones and are easily agitated by others who are also waiting in line, specifically those who sigh, fart and talk loudly about the insufferable process of waiting in line.
