So I broke down and bought a flex pass to the TBA festival. Sleep be-damned. I'm doing this thing right. So far I saw a pretty inspiring multimedia piece called "The People, Portland" by BIG ART GROUP, a motivational discussion/session with ANDREW DICKSON, and a cross-cultural movement piece by Kota Yamazaki called "Glowing". Here's what the rest of my week looks like:
Tonight - Perforations by Biljana Kosmogina, Petra Kovacic, and East Rodeo
Wednesday night - The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller by Sam Green and Yo La Tengo
Thursday night - Gob Squad's Kitchen - You've Never Had it So Good
Friday night - Hot Pepper, Air Conditioner, and the Farewell Speech by Chelfitsch
Saturday night - Le Cargo by Faustin Linyekula
Sunday night - Dirtday by Laurie Anderson
Summoning inspiration. Lots of it.
