Meow's News: I just got back from a hoot of a time in Seattle where my (odd but wondrous) paternal family met for Greek/Lebanese cooking/feasting, wine quaffing, and absurd conversations about jungle whales. Though it's bitter cold, the sun has been waving hello the last two weeks and all pokey volcanos can be yodeled upon without fog clog.
On Friday I got a call from RACC; SRS has received a grant to do an installation in the Portland Building in September. This makes me so happy my teeth aren't sure where to position themselves.
My dearest deer Johanna Wright was featured in the NY times Sunday book review section today for her book, "The Secret Circus". I am so proud of her - my heart just might thump from my chest into a jar of pickles.
If I dream about sand in my toes again, I will seriously consider a trip back to the Sahara... sooner than later.
