A question posted on the ediquitte section of craigslist:

Having slept only minimally in the past 3 nights but still having to work full time, my body was worn out. As a result I also felt cold in the air conditioned office. So I go for a walk outside to warm up and go to lunch at a food court. This place sells wraps and the salads of your choice.

The servers know me as I'm a regular patron. But I was off for a few weeks and hadn't seen them in a while. One woman's name is Li or Miss Li as I call her. She's Chinese. As she handed me my take out food, I took it and by accident my hand slipped over hers. I noticed how warm they were so I told her, wow your hands are so warm! LOL, can you imagine? This was in front of a young guy and probably his gf who had ordered before me. Then she asks whether it's cold in my office and I confirm yes. Well, it doesn't really mean anything romantic, us touching hands, but I have to say, feeling her hand, when mine was chilled was soothing. Ahhhh. But, should I go back and apologize for inappropriate touching? I don't think she was offended, but I don't want her to think the wrong thing. She's not so cute for Chinese woman standards but she is nice. I know food outlet folks need to be nice, that's how they keep their jobs. I'm probably reading too much into it. Perhaps I was even creepy. What do you think?

Go outside. Good things happen outside.
