The main reason I moved from the bustling city of NY to the more placid Portland, Oregon, was to finally put forth all my energy into discovering the first North American monkey. This Friday, with helmet, sticky gloves, hard boiled eggs, and climbing poles, I will bound up gorges and mountain peaks searching for my monkey.
