We decided to spend the holidays in Mexico (Playa Del Carmen, Valladolid, Merida, Oaxaca, Mexico City). There are many reasons behind the decision, the main being a much needed pause away from America. No tree. No stockings. No reindeer. No need to feel disappointed by all of the things I probably shouldn’t be feeling disappointed by. I recognize my privilege in having an opportunity to escape, to feel this way and do something with the feeling. I try not take this for granted.

A Delightful Magazine Called Wobby

Oh the eyes. Sometimes they need to peruse real things, colorful papery things like this independent Risograph magazine out of Amsterdam called WOBBY. The magazine is published 4 times a year and includes some excellent artists and writers. I have a little story in their English edition, issue #12. If you are up for it, you can order a copy HERE.
