baby things

plastic-bucket.jpg

Now that I'm nearly 6 months knocked up, the pressure of making a nest for the wee one is on. Only problem is, I'm not too keen on succumbing to the usual mess of crap humans feel they need to buy for their freshly sprung mammals. I'd like to try and keep it simple.  Here are a few things I'll be procuring for Miss Beckett July Hensley (it's been decided, that's her name!):

one plastic bucket - for bathing

ace bandages and/or muslin cloth - for baby skin coverage

tiny people with nimble hands - for the continuous milking of my teats

a box and string - for transport

high five

gorilla-hands.jpg

The sniffing booth was a smashing event. My nostrils were heavily occupied for the full three hours I was slotted to be there. Go nose! I'll be posting pictures and nasal responses in the next few days. In the meantime, give yourself - or your neighborhood gorilla - a high five for me.

sniff sniff

I've been preparing my nostrils for days for tonight's sniffing booth at Place PDX. Along with the booth for sniffems, there will be loads of other activities including a second preview of the Five exhibit I am part of. Read more about my sniffing booth HERE and the De-Consume piece for Five HERE. Read about something else totally non-related and potentially invigorating HERE.  Have a smashing day!
