sun
Every time I leave the country I try to bring back something I have learned. India taught me how to open up to strangers. Vietnam showed me how to relax. Chile made me a better gardener. Germany made me more comfortable being alone. Tunisia gave me my love for tea. Austria and France inspired me to walk aimlessly. Italy, Spain, Switzerland (and everywhere else) made me a better cook. Columbia and Venezuela opened my eyes. Thailand taught me how to give a proper rub-down. Greece motivated me to ride a motorcycle. Cambodia and Turkey brought me spiritual (and intestinal) catharsis. Prague made me dig deeper. Ireland showed me how to dream. England and Wales made me a better reader. Costa Rica and Panama made me a sun worshipper. Now that I'm back in cloudy lands where bigfoot romps over volcanic terrain, I have to remember the sun is there winking it's bright eyes my way.
back
I'm back in the land of Yamerica. Home of endless choices, wigland, obligations, suburban foibles, headaches, high-fives and chicken in a bucket. Oh miss america, you can drive me mad, but I still find home in your wobbly arms. If you are curious as to what my eyes were dancing around in Panama, I posted some pictures from my trip via facebook. You can see those HERE.
