Miriam Makeba (4 March 1932 -- 10 November 2008) one helluva lady... 100% dedicated to her craft, all the way to her dying day voice of freedom, her songs share the stories, the struggles, the integrity of the native South African people under Apartheid Rule throughout the 60's , 70's , and 80's.
