Spin Cycle

I wouldn't resent the refrigerator

if I knew where it kept its hidden

spelling of condiments.

Dare I say no to the sponge

when it forgets to wring me dry?

Leftovers dusted,

cellophane blunderers.

Hide-and-seek beer bottles

wipe em' down sugary snot rags.

Bend over, ouch-breaking

bathtub warlord pinch-zippered.

Get your raincoat on.

Saturating whiplash

under busted hooves,

domesticated mules

know no better.
