My lady-friends from Goddard - Karen, Emily, and Christine are gathering once a month for a sportsman's paradise book club. Instead of reading entire books, we are reading blips and beeps (essays, articles, and whatnots) on a specific theme. This month, based on Karen's ongoing interest on the subject, we are exploring "gut sounds" and reading Donna Haraway's Parting Bites and some of Cage's On Silence. My ears are tuning inward and I'm liking what I hear:
plop, burr, whirr, squeal, fuzz, wuzz, bleh, bah, nah, mah, pop, sop, dip, lix, muddowonda...
