Part of my job as and artist and designer consists of pulling together color palettes and making beautiful things (patterns, paintings, illustrations, products, packaging, etc.) with those palettes. There are websites I look to for inspiration for this such as THIS ONE, which pull color combinations from fashion and beauty inspired photos. So now I'm playing with idea of pulling palettes from less appealing photos and examining what those colors might look like together. Once I have more of these, I'll pop them on a tumblr or create a work page on this very site. But for now, here's the first palette I've come up with in the series.
