What is fun to me? Risk - if it's not a little scary, it's not fun.
Spontaneous action - fun can't be planned.
Being a little uncomfortable.
Having accomplished something challenging.
What is fun to you? - This question was asked to strangers and friends. Here is what they said:
Personally, I really enjoy pinching my husband's nipples.
Throwing a party or putting on a really good performance.
Fun is 3am drunk conversations with friends about life, politics, and religion.
Rolling down a hill. In the nude.
Something that involves elements of whimsy, creativity, exploration, preferably in a space where it's safe to take risks. Friends, babies, and animals all help.
Exploring some place new that is beautiful and sharing that with a friend or family member who also shares that joy.
Fun is losing myself completely (temporarily) in some sort of creative pursuit.
Making fun with others.
People watching. And engaging conversation with a friend.
Cooking something new. Succeeding at anything. Opening a new box of crayons. Dancing. Oh, and skinny dipping!
Rollerskating and giant sub sandwiches!
The more I can make something obscure, weird, personable, and unsaleable, the more fun it seems to be.... that would be all of my work, I'm afraid.
If you were asking your nephew he would say "bashing a pinata."
Swimming in a lake, ocean, or river. Maybe even a pond...
Losing myself in something... Playing in a drum circle, laughing with my friends, getting caught up in any creative activity, experiencing a new place or experience.
Fun, dangerous fun
