I don't have a formal dance background. I took random dance classes as a child (in a chicken suit) and a few as an adult (in an adult suit), but I've managed to always make movement part of my practice. The musical I am working on right now is the first piece where I am integrating both song and dance. One of my biggest choreographic inspirations for this new project is the late Pina Bausch.
