sniff

My sniffing booth will happen tonight at Place located in Pioneer Place - 3rd Floor. A bit about the project: An intriguing and often shameless nasal curiosity, sniffing makes us more familiar with one and other. In this project, I invite strangers to smell me as I smell them, to push their personal boundaries, to break social taboos and to explore their inner animal. All sniffing begins with fingers and wrists, then moves to elbows, armpits, knees, feet, neck, and ends with heads. These particular parts were chosen based on their unique odor and functionality. Participant's noses are photographed for simplistic documentation and sniffing logs chart the reaction of each sniffer. Sniff sessions take about 20 to 30 minutes. 

All sniffing logs and photographs will be uploaded to this website in the next week or so.
