Due to the bureaucracy of Pioneer Place mall officials, tomorrow night's Sleeping with Strangers event has been cancelled. Dang it! I was looking forward to swapping stories, dreams and snores. Looks like I'll have to find another location for another night. I'm thinking a downtown rooftop under stars.
Tomorrow I'm taking a pitching workshop to prepare to pitch the old ball and chain (my novel) to some fancy agents at the Willamette Writer's Conference. The whole process - from writing the novel, to the many revisions, to now taking the steps to get it out into the world - has been intense. I'm tuckered and my brain looks a bit like the American cheese to your right, but burned and clinging to the bottom corner of a filthy oven.
