For the last three weeks, with the exception of a few crustily tuckered days here and there, I have been waking at 6 am to move my bones, sip tea as the sun winks yellow, and write a bit before dragging myself to "work work". This is the first time in my life I have done such a thing and I must say I'm feeling like a new mammal. I now know why people have written songs about getting up at the crack of dawn.
