A few weeks ago, I found a hefty stack of pictures of a young man wearing dark glasses, posed in front of fake palm trees. I don't know this man, I know nothing of where he is from, or what his name might be. I'd like to think that he is a fire hero or a 7-11 salesman, a bounty hunter, or a tree climber. I have been thinking up many intoxicating scenarios, which has influenced yet another interactive project; in the next few days, I will be sending out this young gentleman's picture to friends and other people I have never met before. I am asking each person to write about who they think this man is, and requesting they send me their stories via post. I'm unsure as how long this process will take, but ideally, I'd like to have several written responses to incorporate into a book called "stranger".
