The ever daunting process continues - seeking funding as an individual artist. How do people do it? I ask myself. How do you balance work work, art making, ship in bottle building, art marketing, nap taking, friend talking, art publicizing, porn viewing, bodily health, camel rearing, and basic survival in addition to applying for grants? The process is painful, but I must persist or else finally submit to a Burgerville managerial position. To span time more constructively, I have come up with a daily calendar. Here is my schedule for two a half weeks from tomorrow:
8am - wake up and allow myself to stare longingly out of the window for 10 minutes.
810 - spring out of bed onto cold floorboards, meander into the kitchen, boil tea
815 - sip tea and write wee letters to the grandparents and friends about all my sparkly non-accomplishments
830 - run around the park with a friend, tongues out
900 - strengthen abdominals while watching porn
910 - bend body into odd shapes
935 - shower quickly with soap pile
936 - dress quickly or not at all
938 - apply hair goo and lipgloss

1221 - "work work"
222 - take a break for a pee, glass of liquid something, and a lapping of sunshine
