Etiquette Q and A (Composed from the Etiquette section of Craigslist forums) Q.So, i was brought up to say, "God bless you" if someone sneezes. Isn't that considered proper etiquette or not? I work in a place where no one says, "God bless you" or "bless you" or "gazuntite" or WHATEVER...does this strike anyone else as odd?

A.I recall hearing that when you sneeze, your soul is temporarily displaced and you could be taken over by a demon at that moment, hence the "God bless you." But only say "God bless you" if it's the boss sneezing. Otherwise, forget it.

Q.Where on Craigslist, or anywhere else, can I list bondage gear that I am selling?

A.list it in the power tools section

Q.My wife refuses to have sex when the kids are in bed (12 & 14) because the squeaks a lot. how do others cope?

A.I think those new memory foam ones might not squeak. Comfy, too.

Q.What is more gross than someone leaving their toothbrush & toothpaste in the common kitchen at work. They are wrapped in paper towels but... take it back to your desk!!!

A.Leave a note taped to it saying "Could someone PLEASE buy a bigger brush? It is so hard to clean the sink and dishes with this tiny thing. its really only good for cleaning the drain part of the sink."

Q.I'm a secretary and I sit in a cubicle next to another secretary who is very loud. She complains all the time in a very loud manner, she speaks to other employees in a loud, booming voice, even her cell phone ringer is on super loud. She told me once thatshe was a little hard of hearing. Anyways, sometimes when I'm on the phone to the boss or with a client, I can't hear what is being said while she is gabbing in such a loud fashion. Should I immediately hush her, tell her to keep it down, put the person on hold, what's the bestway to confront her?

A. Do you mind? I can't hear what God is telling me. Would you please lower your voice? Thank you.
