money

sm8_1.jpg

Today I received a check in the amount of 1015.77. It was tucked meticulously between the split in a single piece of driftwood wrapped in string. Several possibilities come to mind when one receives a lump sum of money one wasn't planning on having.

One could buy:

a plane ticket to Bulgaria

a new set of "back up" tires

a swingset for one's cat

a six year supply of toilet paper

a much needed trip to the doctor

dinner for 12 people one has never met

stock

livestock

a pre-owned swimming pool

batteries, water, and guns

dog food

an audio/visual recording implement for one's audio/visual recording friend

a nap at one of those napping stores in Tokyo
