To make my usually mundane grocery shopping excursion a bit more enticing, I have hired three backup singers to accompany me to the Fred Meyer on 39th and Hawthorne at 1pm. I will be holding a sign that reads I'M HER(E) in front of the plant section outside. Similar to a majority of connections in my life, I found the backup singers on craigslist, I have never met them in person, and only spoke with then briefly over the phone. My only criteria was that they all needed to be semi-professional singers and female; I would not review their headshots nor listen to an MP3 of their lovely voices; I would simply hire the first three ladies whom responded; there will be no rehearsal, and I would pay each 50 dollars for their time.

We will be shopping for no more than an hour for the items on this list:

avocado

jello

apples

swiss cheese

turkey

cereal

peanut butter

coconut milk

red pepper

english muffins

cucumber

kitty litter

This will be videotaped and photographed then eventually published in the WORKS section of my website.
